The result is the appearance of a bold architectural frame while remaining remarkably slim against the wall and visually lightweight. The mirror glass appears to float above the metal plane, creating subtle depth, shadow and dimensionality from only a few millimetres of material.
A Distinctive Architectural Aesthetic

The name TIPO™ originates from topographic contour lines, a reference reflected in the collection's layered construction. This sense of geometry and precision gives the mirrors a clean, graphic quality that can complement a wide range of interior styles, from contemporary minimalism and mid-century modern design to Art Deco influences and the playful sophistication of 1970s and 1980s interiors.
Freedom to Create
What makes the TIPO™ Collection particularly exciting is its creative flexibility. As with all Alguacil & Perkoff bespoke mirrors, the TIPO™ frame system offers extensive customisation across virtually every aspect of the design. Shapes, dimensions, frame proportions, materials, finishes and mirror specifications can all be tailored to suit individual project requirements. The collection can incorporate illuminated mirrors, demister pads, tinted mirror glass and bespoke frame dimensions.
The greater prominence of the frame provides the perfect canvas for our wide range of available finishes, including our new Verdigris finish. Other handcrafted finishes include bronze patinas and blackened metal, created in-house by our artisans directly on the base metal, complementing our range of brass, stainless steel and copper finishes. Powder coating is also available, either from our own range of colours or as a bespoke finish.

While TIPO™ offers the creative freedom and customisation expected of a bespoke mirror, its considered frame construction also makes it particularly well suited to hospitality, residential development and commercial projects requiring larger quantities.
